Dr David King completed his Phd in Molecular Biology in 1990. He was the first Director of the Genetics Forum, a public interest group working mainly on issues related to GM food, and subsequently the founder and editor of GenEthics News, an independent news letter focussing on ethical and social issues raised by genetics. In 2000 he founded Human Genetics Alert of which he remains the Director.
