Emily Stehr is a rising 3L at University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Before law school, Emily was a translator and communications officer with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in the Democratic Republic of Congo. After working with the IRC's health and gender-based violence prevention teams for a year, Emily became interested in studying issues of social justice in healthcare. She was fortunate enough to meet Professor Obasogie at UC Hastings and begin her research in the field of Bioethics under his guidance.
Emily graduated from Princeton University in 2008 with degrees in Neuroscience and Intellectual & Cultural History.
